Need Scrolling Ticker Pulling Live data from SQL DB
I have a MOSS 2007 site where I need to have a Horizontal scrolling ticker that can pull live data from a SQL 2005 DB. Data is dollar figures/numeric and cannot be changed to text string. I have tried using 3rd party software (Flash News Ticker by DataSprings), but they cannot seem to get the solution to import onto my site.

Does anyone know of any other third party software or scripts that could be used to accomplish this task,
Needed YESTERDAY!

Any Help is greatly Appreciated!

sharepoint richtext

Increase/decrease size of SharePoint Rich Text area without posting back. By default, users can’t adjust the size of SharePoint Rich Text area when editing an item; it is not convenient when users want to input large text or insert large images or tables etc. With SharePoint RichText Boost toolbar, users can freely increase/decrease height/width of the SharePoint Rich Text area. These operations are completed on the client side without posting back to server.

Upload and insert images as item attachments into SharePoint Rich Text editor. SharePoint users must input a full URL when inserting an image to default SharePoint Rich Text editor. But mostly they need to insert images into SharePoint Rich Text editor as attachments of the editing item. So SharePoint users may save-open the item many times for inserting images to RichText editor which the action is inconvenient. With SharePoint RichText Boost, SharePoint users can click "insert attached image" button on the additional toolbar and a dialog will popup. Then they can upload image files in this dialog, and the image files will be saved as the attachments of the item. Finally users can select any attachment to insert into SharePoint Rich Text editor.

sharepoint password change

Password Change Web Part allows user to change their own password in a SharePoint portal site without site administrator intervention or IIS expiration pages. When a user accesses a page where the Password Change Web Part is configured, the web part automatically detects the user's domain and user name. The user can enter his/her old password and the new password, ann then confirms the change. The web part verifies the new password and then submits the change. If the current password is incorrect or the new password does not meet the password policy criteria in place at your site, the user receives an error message.

Password Expire Warning Web Part warns user with message in web page before his/her password expires, prompting the user to change password. When a user accesses a page where the Password Expire Warning Web Part is configured, the web part automatically detects the user's domain, user name and the account expiration date. The web part will show a warning message and a link to change password. Page editor can configure how many days the message will show before the expiration date and the URL to change password in the web part properties setting column.

sharepoint column permission

SharePoint column permission is quite useful. It can:

Assign read or edit permissions to columns

Make columns non-editable or invisble in edit or display form

Make view invisible to those who have no read permissions on columns in the view

sharepoint cross site lookup

SharePoint Cross-Site Lookup provides additional features beyond the default Lookup function and most SharePoint Cross-Site Lookup solutions. These features include:

  • Allow users to refer to a list from a different site in one site collection.
  • Support conversion from Cross-Site Lookup column to default Lookup type; therefore, altering the content of Cross-Site Lookup column in datasheet view will be achieved.
  • Find-as-you-type function makes all the objects which are listed in the Dropdown list with the same letter as input word shadowed and chosen quickly.
  • Support FILTER function of cross-site lookup items by selecting view of the lookuped list.

sharepoint lookup boost
SharePoint Lookup Boost offers an overview page to list all related information of an item. The page not only displays all items from which this item looks up, but also shows all items which look up information from this item. Sometimes you might generally need to build a two-way relationship between two items. For instance, ‘A’ looks up information from ‘B’, and ‘B’ may also need to look up ‘A’. Such operation, which usually confuses users, is extremely complicated. With SharePoint Lookup Boost, the two-way relationship can be easily demonstrated in a page without creating two-way Lookup columns manually. SharePoint Lookup Boost can search all items related to a specific item and show them categorized by lists.
sharepoint list collection
SharePoint list collection greatly expands the default function of SharePoint, thus makes it quite convenient for users to display items in one list. With SharePoint list collection, the user can consolidate various list items from different areas and web sites into a single grid view web part, and create public view or personal view for a SharePoint list collection to filter, sort or group information. Furthermore, the user can also create and manipulate items in SharePoint list collection as in default SharePoint list view. These three functions make SharePoint list collection the best choice for users. http://www.sharepointboost.com/listcollection.html

Anyone ever see this error?  My developers were getting this when starting a Project and Workflow task.

I was able to correct the Workflow part in the IIS application pool security settings but cannot find out anything about the Project part of it.

Thanks in advance.
